Shelly Strawn, CPA, brings more than 30 years of accounting, finance, and business advisory experience to Oak City Accounting. As a Senior Accountant, she partners with clients to provide strategic guidance, accurate financial reporting, and proactive accounting solutions that help businesses thrive.

Throughout her career, Shelly has held a variety of leadership roles, including CPA at a national accounting firm, Director of Finance, and Director of Advisory Services. Her broad experience allows her to see beyond the numbers and help clients make informed financial decisions with confidence.

Shelly specializes in working with medical practices, med spas, dental offices, nonprofit organizations, and consulting firms. She is known for her thoughtful approach, technical expertise, and ability to simplify complex financial matters, making her a trusted advisor to the businesses she serves.

A graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology, Shelly earned her Bachelor of Science in Management with a concentration in Accounting. She also spent time living in France, an experience that sparked a lifelong appreciation for different cultures, travel, and new perspectives.

Outside of work, Shelly enjoys reading, tackling crossword puzzles, and traveling with her family in search of new places to discover. Her wealth of experience, calm demeanor, and commitment to client success make her an invaluable member of the Oak City Accounting team.
